The Village Engineer provides professional engineering services in the design and construction management of Village projects and technical assistance to the Planning Board and other Village Boards and Departments as needed.

The Village Engineer is responsible for the design or design overview of maintenance, repair and construction projects. A key responsibility of the Engineer is contract management, which ensures that the Village receives the services contracted for in accordance with the specifications developed during the project design. The Engineer also performs technical reviews of subdivision and site plans to ensure compliance with the applicable requirements and serves as a technical advisor to the Planning Board during its review process.
